Co-CEO
Nick is a seasoned brand strategist and content specialist with a track record of shaping effective narratives and growth strategies for global brands and high-growth businesses. Formerly Managing Director of Studio Black Tomato, strategist at Brave New World, and founder of Meet & Jam, he has led brand positioning, creative direction, and go-to-market strategies for some of the world’s most recognised brands, as well as supported the launch and expansion of ambitious scale-ups.
His clients include Diageo, Clinique, Cadillac, One&Only, American Airlines, British Airways, Bulgari, the Financial Times, Barclays Wealth, CNN, and Belmond. Nick has spent several years refining a strategic approach to brand building and has been a guest lecturer at multiple higher education institutions across the UK, as well as at NYU in New York.
Co-CEO
Mike is an experienced communications professional, having devised strategy and campaigns for brands large and small. He has both agency and client-side experience, having previously been Managing Director at MHP Group, Executive Director at H/Advisors Cicero and part of the communications team at Betfair.
During his career he has provided strategic communications advice to brands including Revolut, Betfair, Airbus, Nationwide, Argos, Barclays, and the UK Government spanning corporate, crisis, campaigns, consumer, and public affairs. Mike started his career working on political campaigns in the United States, including the 2004 Presidential primaries and a 2006 U.S. Senate race in Missouri, as well as spending time in the U.S. Senate.
Mike is listed in the PR Week Power Book, a collection of the most influential and respected comms professionals in the UK today. He was previously a member of the PRCA's PR and Communications Council, the industry leadership body, and was Chair of the London Branch of the University of Bristol Alumni.
Head of Consumer
Lou is an experienced PR director with a track record of leading account teams to integrate strategy, creativity, and execution, delivering truly memorable campaigns.
She joined Boldspace from one of the UK’s leading creative PR agencies, Frank, where she worked on some of the world’s most renowned consumer lifestyle, entertainment, and tech brands, including Burger King, Aldi, Diet Coke, Huawei, and Atom Bank.
Head of Corporate
Jack is a senior communications leader who has over a decade of experience advising some of the world’s best-known organisations on their corporate affairs challenges including Visa, The Crown Estate and The Economist Group. His expertise spans corporate communications, crisis & reputation management, executive counsel and training, public affairs, and integrated campaigns. He has a passion for working on complex issues at the intersection of business, politics and society. In his role, Jack has overall responsibility for Boldspace’s corporate practice.
Jack joined Boldspace from the global communications agency Grayling, where he sat on the leadership team of their Corporate Affairs division. Before working in agency communications, Jack worked in politics as an advisor to three leading Westminster MPs.
Creative Director
Neil became Global Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi in 2011, before taking on a similar leadership role at Leo Burnett in 2016.
Throughout his career, he has developed iconic campaigns for some of the world’s most creatively admired brands, including Nike, Volvo, and Converse, earning multiple Cannes Lions alongside a portfolio of award-winning and highly effective creative work for brands such as NSPCC, Paddy Power, Walkers, Ariel, Gillette, Pampers, Powerade, Corn Flakes, and O2.
Head of Newsroom
An award-winning national journalist, Khush brings a wealth of journalistic expertise to the Boldspace Newsroom. Khush has more than a decade of experience creating and editing content that shaped the national news agenda. She spent four years as Daily Mail Showbiz Editor, following two years as Executive News Editor at MailOnline. She left to join ITV News and This Morning as a News and Multimedia Producer. Her most recent role was Press & Media Director at Aspirations Academies Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust with 16 schools across the country, where she led media reputation management for three years.
Khush’s knowledge spans a range of subject areas from science, health, environment, sustainability, to consumer and entertainment. Working daily with several of the news industry’s best editors has provided Khush with a deep understanding of how the narrative will play out.
Head of Production
Tom has over a decade of experience in production and advertising, directing and producing content across nearly every channel, sector and audience - from Mexican cowboys at dawn to backflipping gyoza.
With a passion for creating compelling video content, he has produced everything from TikToks to full 360 ATL campaigns for brands including LVMH, BBC, Amazon, Subaru and L’Oréal. His work has earned multiple awards and generated millions of views globally.
