Growthcurve, the independent full-funnel growth marketing agency, today announced it has helped clients raise over $1 billion in funding in its first decade, alongside the opening of a new US office. This comes as the agency’s US client base, including Fanatics, the global sports platform, Phantom, the crypto wallet, and Avant, the financial technology company, continues to grow.
Growthcurve has also scaled beyond its original base, with a larger London office. A new space in SoHo, New York, deepens its on-the-ground presence for its clients in the US, already a primary market for the agency. The team includes recent hires from Croud, Dyson, AKQA, Publicis and WPP, bringing a range of expertise across the brand and agency landscape.
Over the last decade, Growthcurve has supported clients spending as much as $100 million a month in ad spend. Further client work covers ANNA Money and Uphold in fintech, Midnite in betting, and Unilever and AliExpress in FMCG and marketplaces. Clients also include companies backed by some of the world’s leading VC firms, including Sequoia Capital, Paradigm and a16z.
Mulenga Agley, Founder and CEO of Growthcurve, said: “When I founded this business, I was confident we’d arrive at this exact destination. Every year since has been preparation for this moment – a bet that agencies built around systems, not just headcount, would matter more over time, not less.”
He continued: “That same discipline is what’s guiding how we grow now, across sectors, geographies and our own team. A decade on, the rest of the industry is only now navigating the shift we built for from the start.”
Susan Li, Head of Growth at Phantom, said: “I’ve worked with Growthcurve at two separate companies and they are the first people I would call to build a full-funnel creative strategy for growth, period. They push the cutting edge of technology in solving creative challenges unique to consumer fintech. The team brings equal parts strategic insight, creative direction, and tech innovation, all of which you need to break through the noise in competitive industries. Not to mention, they’re the coolest people you’ll ever meet and truly like an extension of an in-house team.”
Growthcurve’s approach applies an embedded, systems-led model, with every version of a piece of work checked against a client’s own material and past campaigns before it ships, paired with real-time dashboards that track performance across every channel. That same infrastructure is what lets one good idea scale across markets, tailored to each client’s own brand and material, and inviting full visibility across the scaling process.
“Growthcurve has been a game-changing partner to Avant, and they make our jobs so much easier,” said Charles Whittaker, Chief Business Officer at Avant. “They come to the table with great ideas, and are always open to building on ours. Honestly, they feel like an extension of our team. They care about getting it right, so we trust them with everything from media buying to production to studio creative. We can’t wait to see what they do as they expand in the US.”
