Their initial research revealed that Kyrö had virtually no brand recognition outside of Finland and was entering a highly competitive spirits market with limited spending power. To make an impact, they needed a bold and daring approach to tell the whiskey and gin story —one that typically focuses on craft, heritage, and exclusivity— differently.

The Webby Award winning two-and-a-half-minute film, shot in a single take in Finland at 4 in the morning, featuring Kyrö’s real founders and employees. This approach not only captured the essence of the brand but also saved 70% on the production budget. The film has since garnered over 2.4 million views, with an impressive 90% of them being organic, and has received thousands of positive comments.
