We took a unique, sustainable approach in creating a modular festival experience for Korev, which was rolled out at multiple festivals across the UK.
Challenge
Korev is passionately dedicated to environmental protection. How could we create something sustainable and uniquely branded that thrives at multiple festivals across the UK?
Insight & Strategy
Drawing inspiration from Korev's 'Free-Spirit meets Cornish Soul' ethos, we focused on debris collected from Cornish beaches to craft a distinctive design language for the experience.
Solution
The activation's rustic aesthetic featured old fishing nets, plastic bottles, and surfboards, along with refurbished pallets and recycled coffee bags. This combination created a fully modular bar, seating areas, DJ booth, and entrance walkway, affording us multiple layouts based on the available footprint at each festival, covering up to a 600m² footprint, if needed.
Impact
The build received overwhelmingly positive feedback and was used in various forms at multiple festivals and Surfing England events throughout the UK. These assets continue to be utilised across a variety of festivals and activations, showcasing Korev's ongoing commitment to sustainability and creativity.
