The Aviva Sales team approached us with a challenge to to refresh their sales pitch & site visit collateral to support their sales team winning over and converting new prospects. Our solution saw us building an agile toolkit bursting at the seams with creative content formats to wow and convert prospects.
The Challenge
Aviva were looking for new ways to support their sales team at various points in their pitching journey – from early prospecting, to pitches and site visits. Each client is different and each member of their sales team approaches pitching in a unique way, so they needed a variety of options that could be tailored in a bespoke way, rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
This blank slate gave us complete creative freedom to imagine all kinds of weird and wonderful ways to support their efforts and secure those newly-signed contracts.
The Insight
We wanted the Aviva experience to be unique and engaging, so that their prospective clients walked away with only one brand in mind. We did our research and highlighted some key areas to focus on – how to make prospective clients feel valued, how to portray Aviva as a trusted solution, and ultimately how to bring to life Aviva member experience in a creative, memorable way.
Something we were very clear on from the beginning was how important the input of the actual sales team would be to make sure our creativity had purpose and practicality. So we set up workshop sessions to ensure we collaborated as closely as possible – they brought their on-the-ground insights, we brought our very best creative thinking.
The Solution
After these workshop sessions we took all of the valuable insights from the sales team to fine tune our ideas and create a final toolkit based on their needs. We focused on editable, digital formats that could be kept up-to-date in- house, rather than fixed print-out formats that had a shorter life span and weren’t in-line with their sustainability policies. Plus, we included a ‘VIP’ lanyard design which could tie in perfectly with the visitor passes that we were told guests were required to wear anyway – a perfect example of making something mandatory fun and bespoke.
We also included wild-card, ‘wow’ moments for their big red carpet moments to make sure all bases were covered.
